A couple of Tennessee men say if they can’t ride their horses after drinking, then they don’t want to ride them at all.
Police in Tunnel Hill, Tennessee say the men decided to go for a ride after spending the day drinking and watching NASCAR on TV.
Officers pulled them over as they rode down the highway and charged them each with OVI. On the tickets, they described the vehicles as “Bay Mares” and listed the style as “Horse.”
A judge is now determining if it is even legal to charge a person with OVI on a horse.
In the meantime, the guys sold their horses, saying they only had them as a way to get around when they are drunk.
