As I mentioned early this AM, I saw a pic in a magazine a few weeks ago and even though it didn’t say what it was, my mind was convinced that what I saw was Seafood Pizza. I like to “invent” food so I decided to make a pizza of my own – just throwing some things together. This is what I came up with and it was really good! (much to my amazement!). Here is what got me to a happy dinner last night.
1 box of Jiffy pizza crust (yep the cheap stuff!)
4 big scoops of garlic alfredo sauce (I think it was Bertolli?)
1 cup of medium sized shrimp cut up in thirds (I used frozen and thawed them out)
1/2 cup of scallops (also frozen that I thawed and cut in half)
1/4 cup spinach
1/2 cup of mushrooms
5 slices of fresh Mozzerella cheese
I baked the pizza for 18 mins at 425 and it was perfect and delish! Try it for yourself!
***I wanted to use some real crabmeat on it but have you seen the price of crabmeat lately!?!***
….and no, I didn’t take a picture – but maybe I should have!
