Would you know how to drive through a “Super Intersection?”

Construction has started on a superstreet intersection at Tylersville Road and Ohio Bypass 4 in Butler County.  This is the first of it’s kind in Ohio.

It will reduce delays up to 90%, compared to a conventional intersection.

Would you know how to get through this thing?  Maybe after a few times through it?  Maybe this video will help explain how it works.  Love the animation:

This looks dumb. How many times do you have to stop before turning “left”? I counted three lights. Ridiculous!
But hey, we’re putting America to work! And why is it called “Super”. Ingenious marketing. There might be a reason this is the first in Ohio. Smells like Michigan thinking.

Looks interesting. I can see how more volume can move through an intersection. I am sure it will present problems for drivers that are impatient or want to drive by their rules. Some people just can not handle change. Traffic circles even confuse some drivers.

how, exactly, would very large tucking loads be able to use this thing? i know the havok that a simple round about caused in a little town in Alberta. by taking out a basic intersection and replacing it with a round about, any trucking company hauling anything larger than a u-haul sized load has to travel miles to get around it, with the cost being sometimes in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, all in the name of ‘convience’ for commuters. there is NO way a load of any size (think logging trucks, moving a mobile home, etc) could use this thing.
