Born in Macon, Georgia, and raised between there and Homestead, Florida, Jason Aldean was exposed to music at a young age when his father first taught him how to play the guitar.  He eventually learned how to play music by ear and got involved in local music competitions showing a true love for performing. At the age of 15, he joined a band with which he performed in many southern college towns. After moving to Nashville, Tennessee and overcoming a few hurdles at the start of his career, he was signed with Broken Bow Records and soon released his first single “Hicktown” in 2005.

Aldean earned the biggest first week debut by a male vocalist in over three years with his most recent album My Kinda Party which was released November 2 of last year. His first three albums sold over 4 million copies and four of his singles, “Why”, “She’s Country”, “Big Green Tractor” and “The Truth”  have reached the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs charts.

Currently nominated for two American Music Awards in the “Favorite Male Country Artist” and “Favorite Country Album” categories as well as  “Male Artist of the Year” at the American Country Awards, Aldean has already made a name for himself as a country music artist with a unique style.
