Lee Ann Womack admits that lyrically the song "There Is A God" is a bit of a departure from the type of material she usually performs. But the singer notes she was drawn to the track as soon as her producer Tony Brown played it for her.
"There Is A God" is the first single off Womack's still-untitled upcoming album, which will be her follow up to 2008's "Call Me Crazy." Womack has been on the road this winter, playing a mix of her own dates and shows with George Strait and Reba McEntire. She'll be performing in Biloxi, Mississippi on Friday. Her next concert with Strait and McEntire is coming up in Portland, Oregon on March 26th.
