Darius Rucker Feeling Bittersweet About The Super Bowl

(Undated) -- Darius Rucker says that for him there are only two seasons. He tells ESPN there's, quote, "football season and waiting for football season." As a consequence, the singer notes that while he's looking forward to the big game on Sunday, quote, "it's going to be a big letdown for me around 10:00 p.m. that night. That's when football season will end, after the Super Bowl." Rucker says he intends to enjoy the final football game of the 2009-2010 season, noting, quote, "We're just going to sit there and watch." He adds, quote, "I hope it's a good game. In my heart, I don't really care who wins. But I think the Colts probably will do it."

Rucker is currently on tour with Rascal Flatts. He'll be performing with the group in Auburn Hills, Michigan Friday night and in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday. Rucker will then head back home Sunday to watch the Super Bowl with his family.
